• Hi,

I am trying to set up a blog with www.ads-software.com. I have downlaoded wordpress version 3.8.1 but unfortunately after extracting the files, I do not know where to go from there.
I have already purchased a domain and now in need of a web host. I am using an HP laptop, with Windows 7 and have wifi at home.

    Please help!

Are you asking for hosting recommendations?

YOu can either setup a local server (using xampp) and test out and develop your WordPress site
or use any hosting site or the same site you bought your domain from and most of modern hosting sites have 1 click installation for WordPress

The 1-click installation process you’re having troubles with is likely to be something controlled by your hosting providers – have you contacted them?

what do u mean by WordPress as web host

where can I get nameservers or DNS entries so that I can point the domain for my WordPress account?
my current blog is on wordpress.com but I would now like the flexibilty of being more creative with my blog

Your NameServer and DNS entries would go in ur domain control panel – you should contact your hosting, This is more of WordPress support forum
