    Hi David,
I don’t understand. I got the plugin from the WordPress repository. Could you please explain the steps you are referring to, because I thought I did it the right way (eg. went to www.ads-software.com, chose the plugins page, searched for a landing page plugin, downloaded the zip file, uploaded it into my website’s public html directory -> plugins folder, expanded it, went back to wordpress admin to the list of installed plugins…. at which point all plugins that are now installed in my website plugins folder show up in the list to be activated).
    thanks,
    Dianne

Go to plugins > add new > search for leads > Select WordPress leads and install.

If your server is running lower than PHP 5.3 the plugin will not work and you need to update your server.

PHP 5.3 came out in 2010

WordPress Landing Pages Instals successfully but upon attempt to activate it triggers a fatal error

    Sounds like a plugin/theme conflict.

To test for a theme conflict:

    1. Activate default Twenty Ten, Eleven, Twelve, or Thirteen theme
    2. Check to see if the issue still occurs
    3. If the issue does not occur after having activated the default “Twenty” theme, your theme is causing a conflict with leads.

To test for a plugin conflict:

    1. Deactivate ALL plugins
    2. Activate Leads
    3. Check to see if the issue occurs

If the issue does not occur, one (or more) of your plugins is causing a conflict with Leads.

To determine which plugin(s) is causing the conflict, follow these steps:

    1. Activate each plugin one by one
    2. Check to see if the issue occurs after each plugin is activated

WordPress Landing Pages and WordPress Leads seem to be different things?
I feel I should clarify this before continuing the time-consuming testing proces….

Please FTP into your server and into the wp-content/plugins folder and verify the plugin folder is there.

We can’t see whats happening from here
