    Hi jeffreyd000,

Thanks for using my plugin, and I apologize for the trouble. Did this just start after upgrading to v3.6?

I’m running a local installation of wp3.6+ (using the beta tester plugin) and I see the FAQ custom post type in the admin screen. Do you happen to be running any plugins that can hide admin menu items, such as a white-label plugin or something of that nature?

First time trying it. I had already had 3.6 installed. I have plugins but nothing as you describe. I even disabled some of the plugins that I thought might cause issues but no dice.

On a whim I also tried your Shortcode plugin but that too did not work. So there is an obvious conflict with something else I have running and your plugins.

Honestly I am not sure if it is worth our time and effort to try and sort it all out or not. I’ll leave that decision up to you. In the meantime I am just going to use some simple tabs for the page in question.

    Thanks,
    Jeffrey

My shortcodes plugin doesn’t have an admin menu or anything like that. My portfolio plugin is the only other plugin I’ve released that has a post type menu on the admin screen.

It’s possible there’s a conflict with something else. It would require you disable all plugins to see if it’s one of them, or even possibly change themes to see if that’s the issue.

Only you can decide whether my plugin is worth that much of your time. There are other FAQ plugins out there that may work better for you.

i realize that it doesn’t have a menu, I copied you code sample pasted into plain text editor and it just rendered the raw code. I’m sure it is not your stuff as you have zero bad reviews.

Thanks for taking the time to respond,
    Jeffrey
