Installed but Not Thrilled

  • Installed the AIOSEO as a result of installing optinMonster.

    Uninstalled as a result of installing optinMonster.

    The base (free) package is really good. But every time you turn around, the plugin is nagging you to upgrade. It’s really obnoxious and breaks your concentration when you keep smacking face-first into the paywall.

    And damn, but that paywall is HIGH! One of the most-expensive SEO packages out there by itself, but then you begin to factor in the costs of their family of integrating plugins and HOLY SMOKES – you’ll have to sell tons of crap just to pay annual costs. It’s like working four months free every year just to pay the IRS.

    Keep doing your research. There’s better and more cost-effective SEO plugins available that don’t badger you to death to upgrade.

    My apologies. I noticed that my front page got nuked after intalling the optinMonster, monsterInsights, something else monster, and AIOSEO all in-series. Since AIOSEO was the last plugin I installed, it took the heat and claiming that AIOSEO wiped my home page was unfair. It was actually one of those products but I don’t know which.

    I’ve since removed everything from my site so there will be no more problems.
