I just installed Clear Line, but cannot get the correct “view” of the theme. Everything is over to the left of the screen and not at all as shown in preview. Almost like the code is messed up. My blog is just about to go live, so I have no posts yet. So, giving the web address won’t help since there is nothing to see yet. Any thoughts with this limited information? Sorry, my tech skills are limited.

In fact, without seeing the site, it’s quite impossible to offer much help at all. If the layout is messed up, that IS something to see.

Don’t know why, but your theme is missing the style.css file, and has some other major problems. Did you modify any theme files?

No. I have installed a few others and they work fine. :\

I also just went in an deleted and re-installed it. Still the same problem with only this one.

Try deactivating your plugins temporarily to see if one is causing that to happen – looks like maybe Squirrly SEO code has replaced the DOCTYPE which is definitely not a good thing. Using more than one SEO plugin at a time may also be a problem.
