Installed contact form 7 plugin but nothing happens

go to posts->add new. put [contact-form 1 "Contact form 1"] in the editor as VISUAL tab.

does that also use contact form 7 then?

i checked and im supposed to see a new tab at the bottom left for contact 7, but i dont see any?

there you see a “edit” tab. Click on it. You will get the settings.
