installed faulty plugin, site is now down

  • Hi there,

    I was close to finishing my site and wanted to hide categories on my portfolio pages. i installed a plugin called WP Hide Category and updated to WordPress 4.5 at the same time. i dont know what caused it, but my site will not load anymore and i’m assuming its the faulty plugin. I deleted the WP hide category folder from FTP. reinstalled my theme’s plugin, bought and reinstalled WPBakery (which my theme relies on)

    I am using Flora by Wyde for my theme.

    Any help or pointers would be amazing. i dont know where to even start.
