Installed in /wordpres, but want to run the root

I’m relatively new. This is about the third site I’ve set up, but still not very experienced. This time, I wanted to set up the site in a sub-directory, get everything the way I wanted it and then switch over to it running the root directory. So, i installed in https://www.williamandsun.com/wordpress. Everything is running fine in that subdirectory.

Now what do I do to make https://www.williamandsun.com be the root of the blog? In otherwords, they come to the site and they’re in the blog.
