I don’t see any images either. You have images set as Featured Images for each blog post? You have my plugin activated? If so, then you should have images in your feed… I’m not sure what would prevent them from showing up.

I think I see the problem — there is no “featured” image. Instead, the theme I am using automatically takes the first image in the post and uses it as a featured image.

Let me do some playing and see what I comes up with.

That was it. The theme I am using creates its own “featured image”. The problem is, it is not a WordPress designated feature image.

When I set a normal featured image, they appeared in the RSS feed, and Mailchimp sees them.

Now I have to figure out if there is a plugin that automatically makes the first image in the post a WordPress specified feature image…

Sorry for stupid problem at my end ??

And, thanks for the quick response!

Quick Featured Image does the trick!

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/quick-featured-images/

It makes the first image the featured image, and your plugin spools it out to the RSS feed at Mail Chimp!

    Problem solved!

Perfect, I figured that’s what the problem was, and I hope all others with the same issue find this thread and use that plugin to resolve it.

Thanks so much. I may incorporate that first image functionality into my plugin as well.

    Hello,

I have the same issue except Quick Featured Image does not solve my problem.

    My feed: https://www.elenuki.com/feed/

No img are showing even if the featured img is configured correctly. Could you please help?

Hi hdoumenc – I see images in your feed. Perhaps clear your cache, try using a different RSS feed reader?

    See the below:

    Hi,

    I’ve installed this plug-in.

I am having a problem where the images seem to work just fine in my feed and in all feed readers, but not in Mailchimp.

    the
tag is missing and Mailchimp can’t pull from my feed for automated updates on blog posts.

    My feed is https://yearofthedurian.com/feed

I already set my own featured images, so that’s not the problem. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Lindsay
