Installed photo gallery to page – can not view thumnail

  • very novice at this so I beg for your patience and understanding:

    Created page/uploaded media/created gallery: USING the theme ENIGMA
    Everything looks perfect and working until I log out and go directly to site
    I see all the great thumnails, however when I try to click the thumnail to view i recieve
    the following error message

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas09_data03/37/2765337/html/wp-content/themes/enigma/functions.php on line 236

    please advise
