Installed PMPro BBPress and got the white pages

    White pages usually have PHP errors for them hidden somewhere that will help to identify what is happening.

    Enable WP_DEBUG or find your PHP error log to find out what is going on.

    Make sure these aren’t “network activated”. They should only be activated on the subsite. Sounds like you did that, but double checking.

    Thank you Jason,

    I enabled WP_DEBUG as well as WP_DEBUG_LOG.

    Then I installed the plugin on the network and did not activate it–no problems.

    When I went to the subsite to activate it the page became the white page. I don’t know where to look for anything from WP_DEBUG. The page was white and empty. It’s the same when I view the page source.

    And the log didn’t appear in wp-content (as the codex said it would).

    I repeated this process twice with no results.

    I deleted the plugin from the network and the subsite came back.

    When I installed the plugin on the network again the subsite went white without even activating the plugin–so the subsite thinks the plugin is installed and tries to do something with it.

    bbpress and pmp do not show up in the error logs.

    The server log shows the following (which tells me nothing):
