installed wordpress successfully but cant see admin area. plz help

    Hello everyone!

    I installed wordpress today on Hostgator.com. I used quickinstall.
    installed it and got “congratulations” message and recieved an email with a link to my admin area, user name and a password etc.
    When I press on those links, none of them are working. its showing “server not found”.

    I tried all steps again from the first and even watched some youtube videos doing the same thing but still doesnt work.

    mydomain.com – “server not found”
    mydomain.com/wp-admin -“server not found”

    Please help

    How long ago did you register this domain?

    just today. like 6 hours ago. does this matter?

    Yes. It can take up to 72 hours for a domain name to propagate fully and be ready to use.

    One more question. I wanna connect my hosting with my other domain which is registered in a different domain register company.

    I mean I just connected it. and I am still having the same problem.
    Does it also take that long to be used?

    the other domain is a 2 year old domain.

    Name servers changes also take up to 72 hours to work properly.
