There may be some conflict. You need to check it by deactivating the plugin you are using to post. Then check if “Import tweets as posts” plugin importing your latest tweets.

Im having the same issue. I installed the plugin and it worked beautifully.
My client called me this morning and said that it had stopped working.

I have changed nothing. It just stopped working.

    Thanks for your help

I have double checked all of the Keys and secrets etc and its still not importing the tweets.

I have checked it again and it’s working fine at my end. Trying changing post type to tweet and re-change post type as post and save the changes on your any local setup. Let me know if you get the same problem.

Thanks for your response. I’m still not having any success.
I tried running it both ways:
    – Post type: post and post: tweet and its still not showing up.

What version of WordPress are you running?

I’ve checked on 3.8.4 and 4.0. Setup a new site and then try this. Their won’t be any issue with WordPress version.

Ok I’m at a loss. I’ve just updated my WP install and still no luck.

I have double checked all my API settings with the Twitter app and I have tried both the different configurations you suggested in the WordPress panel.

I have even tried the username with the @ symbol and without.

Do you have an email address that I can send a screenshot to ?

I just tried changing it from “posts” to “tweets”, saved it, then reverted it and saved it. Still not working.

I am trying deleting some of the duplicate postings. Still not working.

I deactivated the other plugins that were posting to Twitter. Not working either.

My was working about a week ago. Once I got it working, I left it alone. I didnt do anything and it all of a sudden stopped.

What should we put on the “number of tweets to import”. I can’t find any reference to what this means. What’s the difference of importing “1” vs “15,000”?

I have tried everything from 0 to 150 to 4000 and nothing works.

To check the plugin, Download latest WordPress, Setup a new site, Install “Import tweets as posts”, Make the settings and Save those setting.

Enter your Auth keys, Enter 10 in “No of tweets to import” and 1 in “tweets import interval time”. Leave rest field of things as it is.

I’ve check it again and it is working fine. There is some limitations on No of tweets to import at a time by twitter. so do not enter more than 100 in count field.

Ok, I’ll try that. Thanks for your help.

Had the same problem. I just deactivated and reactivated the plugin. Had to do this three maybe four times (every time I realized it didn’t load a tweet again), now it’s working since months.

Not ideal, but it did the trick ??

I don’t know how you were getting this issue. I’ve checked it several times and didn’t get any such issue. If any one else getting the same issue please share your settings excluding oAuth keys.
