Installed WP 2.8 and JUST installing Comicpress 2.7

Hey. Today is the first day of my wordpress-ing to start off my webcomic. I installed wordpress 2.8 then went to the comicpress site. Downloaded it, tried to install the plugin, but when I went to activate it it said there was no header.

But the folders were plunked into my server.
So, I tried to copy the comicpress folder into my themes, but none of them work.

I have comicpress MANAGER installed, but not comicpress……..

I’m frustrated and I’m not sure what I’ve overlooked.

What did i do wrong? What have I missed?

I tried searching for similar problems, but it looks like everyone else already HAD a working version of Comicpress when on 2.7 and then upgraded to 2.8

I’ve never had 2.7 I’m starting fresh with 2.8
What do I do? I’m not that much of a techie-type. I’m just a dumb artist type.
