Installing a banner on the site.

  • I have been given an HTML code so that I can install a box on the site, with links to an affiliate site.
    Please can you explain how and where do I do this. I have been told to add it to the front page.
    I am a newbie.

  • If you want to add the banner at the top of you site, you would do that in header.php
    If you want to add to sidebar, do it in sidebar.php

    Note of caution: Don’t mess around with your PHP if you’re not familiar with this language. One wrong caracter and your blog can disappear!
