i was playing around with the theme (it’s awesome by the way) and was using child theme, then i installed and activated woocommerce and finished it’s usual setup, nothing new, but the moment i came back, homepage was changed and all my settings done by built-in wordpress customizer were gone, even my color palette. is it normal or did i do something wrong?

  • Hi, Mohammad H., I’m just another user of the Neve theme.

That does sound odd that it would reset your customizer settings.

Please try using the “Health Check” plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ to determine whether WooCommerce is at fault in this case.

In the troubleshooting tab, you can disable all plugins and have the theme changed while logged in; visitors will see the website as if the plugin(s) and/or theme wasn’t changed.

After installing it, try to deactivate WooCommerce to determine whether it’s responsible for the reset WordPress customizer settings.

hi, thank you for the help.
i used that add-on, enabled WooCommerce during troubleshooting mode and if you follow WooCommerce setup, on the last step which you set your shop logo, it resets all customizer settings.

i tried with Twenty Twenty theme and the problem is the same, so i should report there i think. thank you again.
