Installing Appearance Troubles

  • Hi,

    I’ve been trying all day to install a theme for my website. But everytime I try, I get this:

    Warning: include_once(/home7/royalty3/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ethnic-purple/) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: Success in /home7/royalty3/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 473

    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home7/royalty3/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ethnic-purple/’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home7/royalty3/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 473

    I have tried moving the zip file to the theme folder, but nothing has changed.

    It also says installation failed because the file had already been uploaded.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

  • OK, now I see what your problem is

    You do not upload the ZIP FILE – you take the folder OUT of the zip file and upload the inner folder into the wp-content/themes folder, using FTP
