• Hi everybody,

I have a client who wants me to customize the header and footer for the WordPress site I’m developing for them.

The best way to do this is with Elementor, I guess, and I downloaded the Elementor Header/Footer designer, got a header created, but how do I insert it in website? The rest of the website is done in the Gutenberg Blocks and when I switched to Elementor for those pages it messed everything up; so I’d rather leave them in Blocks.

Every option I’ve researched so far involves paying for Elementor Pro, which I’d rather not have my client do just for the header and footer. Is there a way to avoid it?

    Thanks,
    Sarah B.

to ask for guidance about how to best use plugins related to Elementor is to start a topic in the plugin’s specific forum:

If you are using Full Site Editing you can create custom heading without having to purchase anything. FSE is divided into templates and parts. You can use the theme editor to add new parts which includes headers, footers, and sidebars. You can also create your own custom Parts. After you create the part, You simply need to add the header block from the theme section of Gutenberg blocks. If you need more options you can use the block editor to create templates to override your current template. You can create a large number of them if you wanted to but it probably best to keep it as uniform as you can.
