    Hi there,
I need to have the Complianz plugin for Nl, De and En version of https://www.viavisual.net website.
    – En and Nl : I could install with changing lanuguage in dashboard.

But while implementing in De: I have the Cookie policy document in De but the strings are still in English. As German is the language included in Complianz : Why is it not translating the strings also.

    – Do I need to translate via Loco plugin?

By the way, Thanks a lot for this great plugin with helpful functionalities in standard version.

    Regards,
    RC

    Hi @rc2020,

Which plugin do you use for translation management? Complianz will take the default WordPress language, to use it in other languages you can use WPML for example.

It could be you need to update the translation files under Dashboard – Update – Update translations.

    Let me know,

I installed the NL version by changing wp language to Dutch and cookie documents and all the string messages were also translated in Dutch.

    1.
Having problem with German language one.
    – I changed the wp language in dashboard to Deutsch.
    – Installed the plugin.
    – Cookie document is translated automatically in Deutsch.
    – But the string messages are still showing in English.
    How to fix that?

    2. After installation, I prefer to have dashboard in English language..so if I change back to En from Deutsch…will the Complianz cookie doc and other messages will change into English? or it will stay in German?

    Thanks in advance,
    RC

    Hi @rc2020,

I would suggest changing the WordPress default language in English to get the dashboard in English, if you want to translate to Dutch and German, you will need a plugin like WPML or Polylang to differentiate between the languages.

    How is it configured currently?

PS: changing the default language might cause some delay in updating translations, as they will need to be updated and downloaded from WordPress core. You can do this manually under Dashboard – Updates.

These are three differently hosted websites. So three urls and three dashboards.
    – we prefer to work in English and that’s why prefer to have dashboard on all the three dashboards in English.
    – But the plugin should be in Dutch and Deutsch. So the question is;
    1. If I change the dashboard language back to En after installing the plugin in Dutch. Will the plugin get translated in back to English and same for Deutsch version?
    2. And on nl version it worked..but on german it is not showing.

    Hi @rc2020,

    Yes.

But, if you use the WordPress default language English, and use a translation plugin this shouldn’t be an issue.

You can contact us at complianz.io/contact, for support in Dutch, which might be a bit easier for us to understand the variables.

    regards Aert
