Installing initial theme in wordpress from GoDaddy WordPress install

I’m trying to activate WordPress on my site and am stuck at the theme upload from the Godaddy WordPress installer. I choose the initial theme and it spins around saying that it’s uploading then goes to a page saying that it doesn’t exist, I then reload the page and it goes back to the theme install from before and doesn’t open the wordpress admin panel. Help with this would be greatly appreciated!
