• Hello,

I’ll be straightforward: I own some server space (FTP) with cPanel and so on. Problem is, this is a family website. Therefore, the main website (index.html) links to other 4 mini-blogs, let’s say. How do I setup it so that each mini-blog has it’s own password and username? Does the installation go the same way if I put it in the linked webpage/folder?

    Many thanks,
    Alex.

  • you will have to install 4 times WP or use a multisite.

so the best thing to do is use multi site.

This way you can be the super admin and can view all sites created on your network. Then you create a login for each family member. Then you create a new user in the network admin area and add them to the blog they will b running. Then you give them the url with wp-login.php at the end. then when they login, all they see are the sites that they are added to.

    hope this helps.
