Installing multiple WordPress blogs on one server

  • I run my own Windows server box from my home. It currently runs Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition R2, with Apache 2.0.59, PHP 5.2.0, and MySQL 5.0. I followed the step-by-step instructions on www.ads-software.com, and I have successfully created a blog for one of my domains, drewandjoe.com, that I have hosted on the server. However, some of the other sites on my server want WordPress blogs installed as well. I tried doing the same steps as the instructions, but instead making a new MySQL user. After doing this and installing WordPress into the users directory, it messed up my previously created blog and pushed it back to default settings.

    Can anyone explain to me how to create additional WordPress blogs for users that I have hosted on my server? The reasonable method that I tried didn’t seem to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
