• I made some mistakes and I want to reinstall my wordpress on same directory using same database.
Is it a proper way to just delete all files using ftp and upload clean wordpress package? Will database be override correctly or i need somehow clean it as well?

  • Yes, you can just delete all of your existing installation via FTP and upload a clean WordPress package. I would use phpMyAdmin to login to your db and “drop” all tables or delete db and create a new one.

My question is very similar. We made some fundamental errors after installing our WordPress Theme and haven’t loaded up content yet.

Can we uninstall the Theme through the Installatron page and then reinstall the Theme? I downloaded the zip from the company where we bought the Theme. We’re not really confident using FTP and prefer to install the Theme via WordPress.
