    Hi Guys!
I used a plugin to import my products, but the problem is I’m missing my product images. I have over 3000 products and I started to import product images manually. This online store is very complex with multiple subcategories. Is there maybe an easier way to upload my jpg’s in bulk? Because I don’t think WooCommerce is smart enough to identify the jpeg file format and its path in correlation with the product itself e.g. /accessories/eyepieces/plossl/GSO_pl.jpg). Maybe the file path is too long or in the wrong format for it to match up with the product itself. Any Advice? My site is hosted locally at the moment. Is there a way to create a directory structure that matches the existing file locations? And where in my site’s directory structure are the images located?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

You can import and “update” your product images via the built-in CSV importer. There’s a specific section on importing images too.

It would be easiest to export your products first. Then, for the purpose of only linking your images, you can delete all the columns except for ID (which identifies the product) and Images. The default value for Images is an accessible URL, so if you’re hosting your site locally, you can upload all your images to a directory of that site, so it could be accessible somewhere like https://local.host/wp-content/uploads/my_images/ for instance.

Then your CSV will look like so:

You can then go to WP Admin ? WooCommerce ? Products ? Import, and check “Update existing products” before importing your CSV. Depending on the speed of your computer, importing 3,000 product images might take a while.
