Installing software via FTP

    Hi!

    I am not very good at doing what I am trying to do. I’m downloaded files to install a forum on my website and I’ve uploaded them to /www.satorinectar.com/forum via FTP. The installation instructions directed me to tack on “install.php” to the above address in order to run the installation. I am having zero luck. I’m also a bit turned around as I’ve installed Apache and PHPmyAdmin to my computer to prep for having a forum (as I was reading a tutorial somewhere) – but then I found I have hosting that seems to take care of all of that? Sheesh. I don’t know what’s going on!

    I have:

    Apache
    PHPmyAdmin
    Filezilla
    Laughingsquid.com as a host (which seems to host MySQL 5.1)

    I need:

    a forum (of which I have the files)
    a membership enabled site (of which I have all the files)

    Now, how do I use the things I have to get the things I need?
