Installing theme WP stop to run

I install MAMP /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wordpress
after lunch WP page setting, I need load anew theme.
after upload the zip file (starry.zip 3.2 Mb) I click activate and browser go on a empty site page and crash any further try to return to previous address or other links..
just go back to the loading page showing message “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums”
MAMP do not have so many set up to be correct…
the browser “safari” point:https://localhost:8888/wordpress/wp-admin/theme-install.php
from here don’t go to any other address..back or forward.
I did reinstall everything but the problem repeating.
there is any limit on theme dimension file?..
