Yesterday I set up my domain and pointed it to all of the right places, then installed wordpress onto it (i did this on plesk and used an easy online tutorial). When it came to the final installation step i went to mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php and got greeted by a completely blank screen.
I know this is something a lot of people have had issues with in the past, but I have yet to read someones post where they had nothing on the screen rather than some kind of error message.

I thought it may have been to do with changing domains etc so I left it overnight, however I am having exactly the same problems again today. After reading several posts and checking everything (permissions, files etc) everything is fine, but I am still only getting a blank screen up.

    Does anyone have any ideas..?

  • Blank screen is a sign of some configuration issue on the server. It may be PHP memory limit or some other issues. You should look at your server error logs. If you are on shared hosting, you should contact your host.

    Whats the website URL?

    Verify:

    System Requirements

    PHP version 5.2.4 or higher.
    MySQL version 5.0 or higher.

    Recommendations

    PHP version 5.4 or higher.
    MySQL version 5.5 or higher.
    The mod_rewrite Apache module.
A link to www.ads-software.com on your site.

Is there anything in the error_log?

Nothing is coming up anywhere regarding problems or errors. The server has all of the requirements as a previous employee has done the same and that works fine..
I have left it over the weekend and am still getting greeted by a blank screen..

Thanks everyone for your input, I have now managed to get it working. Not entirely sure how, but I deleted all the files I had already downloaded and started the process again, this somehow worked!

    Thanks again
