• Has anyone tried installing WordPress on a server running 64-bit Red Hat? Any known problems with running/installing WordPress on a 64-bit OS?

Being that WordPress is PHP (and thus an interpreted script), it’s really not picky about 32-bit vs. 64-bit. As long as you can get Apache + PHP + MySQL running properly, WordPress will have no issues.

You will need to research 64-bit compatibility with Apache, PHP, and MySQL, however, as these are all binaries that will be running on the system. And you may have MySQL running on another machine entirely, depending on how you are setting things up.
