Installing WordPress through IPage Problem

    Hi
    I am very new to WordPress. I thought I would install a WordPress site through Ipage hosting using simple scripts. I have done this before on Blue Host without any problems . So just assumed it would be an easy process, but when I click on the admin button I get a directory page 404
    I am a complete newbie please help.

    I’d be happy to investigate and assist you with this.
    Often a page not found error with WordPress is due to a .htaccess permalink issue. With /wp-admin/ it should load so I’d like to take a look myself.

    Still have the problem! I haven’t contacted technical support.
    I just thought I’d look on the forum to see if I could get some help.

    Thank you for replying.

    In order to assist you further I will need to gain access to your account to check the files and setup. I have sent an email to the approved administrative address on file to gain security verification and permission to proceed – this also updates as a ticket in the Support Console.
