Installing WordPress with FTP

    Hello
    I am new to wordpress and I want to understand the installation procedure.
    I have purchased classima classified and wish to install this.
    Procedure;
    Create empty database on remote server.
    Upload the WordPress application files to correct directory using FTP.

    Login in to website with credentials for database.
    Wordpress opens to allow installation of plugins etc.

    Is this about right?

    Hello,
    I have tried several times to create a test WordPress site but I keep coming up with errors.
    So far I have uploaded only the WordPress files via FTP to net100.co.uk/wpbfsn22/
    The files appear to OK but it keeps showing lisfinity.

    I will be trialling to use classima.
    I have not any lisfinity files in the upload carried out as far as I know and have checked for any reference by a search.
    Has anyone any ideas what may be happening?

    Hello,
    I emailed radiustheme.com
    They are asking for
    Wordpress-admin access information.

    Can anyone please let me know what is required.
    I did ask but only received the above request.

    A little more info:
    When I open wp-config.php on my local PC
    There seems to be an error in line 56 wp-config.php

    Lines 56-58
    [ Deleted ]
    When I run that page nothing appears.

    I eventually fund what was wrong with the wordpress installation. There was a mistake with the wp-config.php file.
