Installing WP from 1and1

    I am inexperienced in web building, but about to begin designing a new website using WP. My current site is hosted with 1and1, and was created 6 or 7 years ago by a professional web builder, but is outdated and is unresponsive.

    On my 1and1 dashboard there is an option to build a new site with WordPress (as well as other web builders), should I begin from the official WordPress page or is 1and1’s the same version?
