Installing WP over B2

  • Blessings and Peace:
    I’ve just installed B2, only to find out about World Press.
    My B2 installation was a part of Ensim Power Tools.
    How easy would it be to install WP over this version of
    B2? Would it be easier to just install a new version of WP,
    and forget about the B2 install?
    Any pro-installer willing to do an install job for a
    small non-profit?

    If you don’t mind losing any post data, or haven’t posted anything yet, just delete the b2 files. I’m not sure if b2 uses a MySQL database, but if it does, just empty it, or delete it and create a new one. Then, just follow WordPress’s very simple installation instructions. If you have posts in b2, follow WordPress’s installation instructions, and run the b2 import script (wp-admin/import-b2.php).

    I use Ensim too, and they insist on sticking with b2 in there don’t they ?
    If you really don’t want to install it, chuck me an email with your site ftp details and I’ll install wp for you ??
