install.php downloads rather than runs

I can only suggest that you try asking about this on a dedicated MAMP forum.

have u created database in mysql and directory in apache document root folder. you can try by pointing browser to https://10.1.5.30/”your wordpress directory in the apache document root folder”/wp-admin/install.php . Before you do that make sure that in wordpress directory you have copied wp-config-sample.php into wp-config.php. also wp-config has to be modified on created. you need to put databsename, host, user, password. if this all is not working then contact MAMP forum.
