install.php not in directory

    Hello,

    The first instructions for WordPress are to open wp-admin/install.php. This file does not exist in the wp-admin directory. What do I need to do here?

    I would say get a fresh download. Sounds like something got messed up. (that file should be there.)

    Janisrae – you posted in a question I posted about the wp-admin/install.php file. Did you ever figure out how to fix the problem? I never got a decent reply to my thread.
