  • That URL is *screwed up*. You have the IP address not once, but twice, and *then* you have the URL on top if that. Your URL says your URL is located within your IP, which is located within your IP.

    IP address will represent the URL. “80.175.43.16” should be interchangeable with “twcevents.co.uk”. The URL shouldn’t be a subfolder of the IP. Does that make sense?

    However, when I tried just putting in the IP or the URL, and then going to wp-admin, I get a file not found.

    So *where* did you install the files? That URL makes no sense at all.

    Yeah I thought it looked wrong. What I did was to go into my hosting control panel (plesk) and click on the preview button which gave me the above URL.
    I just spoke to the tech support guys and they said because the site preview runs a script it won’t let me do this. He got me to go into C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and add the IP address in the hosts file and now I have my page.
