Installs but breaks admin

After install, enable and configuration I was able to tinker with some biblio stuff on a post. Shortly thereafter, I could no longer access the dashboard. Attempts to do so always resulted in a memory exhaustion error.
It seems there’s a memory leak somewhere because it failed after consuming 256Mb.
I had to rename the plug-in directory in order to administer my site.
