• Instant click is awesome, UX is definitely improved – as long as you don’t use jquery. It seems that even is I disable js minify & combine and js defer, it still doen’t work. The conflict appears with several plugins and themes, so it’s not something isolated. Loading jquery from google or cdnjs isn’t helping, either.

It’s too bad, this would be an amazing feature. In my opinion, working into this would be a huge boost to the plugin. Huge is an understatement ??

  • Hi @alex-mi, instantClick technically makes your website a single-page application (https://instantclick.io/scripts), so there’s no DOMContentLoaded firing on page changes anymore, so you need to change your theme’s structure/javascript for adapting instant click function.

In the meantime, We will also keep improving the instant click function to support different frameworks and plugins, but no ETA at this moment.

Would it be an option to include / exclude certain divs/scripts from the link page from loading with Instantclick? For example, the Ajaxify WordPress Site plugin allows to exclude divs from loading with ajax when loading a page, thus removing potential conflicts. The issue is that it uses ajax, that can be overloaded with many requests.

Thanks for your recommendation, we will put on our TODO list, also no ETA at this moment.

May I know more details about the exclusion function, are there some links on your site are working with instant click but some are not?

Also, could you please provide your Report Number, found in?WP Admin > LiteSpeed Cache > Report.
