Instant Counter plug in, and how to use analytics?

Go to the following page and sign up for a free Google Analytics account:

i have google analytics, but need to know how to add the code to the blog pages. which page do i modify?

i have the counter plugin but i activate it and it does not show up on theblog

Did you then go to the widget page in your Dashboard?

i went to the plugins page and activated it

i click on “dashboard” and i do not see any button that says “widget interface” or “widgets”

i downloaded that google analyticator and activated it, but now under “options” i see “google analyticator” but when i click on it, it’s blank. nowhere to enter UID

i do not have a button called “design” i have wp 2.5

when i click dashboard there are no sub categories to click on

when i am in dashboard, in the content area it says DASHBOARD and a line under it then all the rest under that is news and articles.

am i missing some subcategories?
