InstantUpgrade feature in 2.7

  • I understand that WordPress 2.7 now has a built-in instant-upgrade feature, so I’d like to remove Alex Günsche’s InstantUpgrade plugin, which I’d been using previously.

    Is this safe to do? Can I restore the original file modes? Or does the upgrade feature in 2.7 require any of this functionality in order to work? Thanks.
