How to know when anyone has registered as an Instructor?

Am I missing something?

I see that the switch simply applies the role, or doesn’t apply it, but no other way to tell when someone has registered as instructor?

How to know when someone has done so?

if its not possible, then please can you recommend an action hook for us to use to send admin an email when someone has registered as an instructor?
