Insufficient Developer Role – Instagram

    I am receiving the following error code when trying to authorise the Instagram token for my wordpress website:

    {“error_type”: “OAuthException”, “code”: 400, “error_message”: “Insufficient developer role”}

    The process to get the token as has been followed with due care. I have received the token, but it won’t get passed this stage.

    Any ideas?

  • Me too: “Unsupported request – method type: get” on the web page it’s on. It was working until a few weeks ago

    Just a quick update on this, guys!

    No support at all from developer, HOWEVER, I have fixed it – at least on my end, anyway.

    It wasn’t having any of it on my Windows PC, but I logged into my WP-admin on my MacBook and it registered the MEKS Insta authorisation on the first attempt. I am not sure if this is something to do with the OS, whether it’s a cookies issue, or something else completely, but try this and it may work.

    Over the past few weeks, we have had periodic issues regarding compliance with Meta/Facebook/Instagram as their staff is frequently changing the API system and constantly introducing new privacy rules and security restrictions. Our plugin is currently in another review process by the Instagram team and is temporarily unavailable.?

    Our team is in an ongoing conversation with their developers to find the best way to keep the Meks Instagram Plugin available for all our users.

    However, many factors regarding this matter are out of our control, and we cannot promise if/when the plugin will be available.

    Llevo tiempo teniendo problemas con las conexiones de las tiendas de Facebook e Instagram y la ultima al intentar renovar el token de instagram tambien me aparece el mensaje {“error_type”: “OAuthException”, “code”: 400, “error_message”: “Insufficient developer role”} Podeis darme alguna solucion o informacion sobre esto? Gracias
