Very nice forum integration, how?

I really like the way this forum has been fairly seamlessly integrated into this blog. Can anyone tell me how this is done? He uses vbulletin but can you do it with phpbb?

He made a vBullitan theme that looks like his wordpress theme. calling images from his wordpress theme folder.

Is there an easier way to integrate a decent forum like PHPBB etc?

One option would be to search the Plugins directory for terms like “forum integration” and see what bubbles up.
