integrate user database

    I am looking for a way to integrate logins for only 4 wordpress blogs. This is just a small group of friends and we dont want each person to register 4 times to be able to comment on our blogs. I have tried the multiply plugin and the multi-user plugin but with no luck. Both seem to require the apache rewrite mod and I am on a windows server.
    Are there any other available options?
