    Please inform me of how can your Help Desk ticketing plug-in can Integrate With a WordPress Membership Site Plug-in. I want the Help Desk to integrate with it so that members do not need to create a new separate username & password profile. I have learned that it is not as straightforward as I thought. Meaning that just because the membership and helpdesk are both WP based plugins does not necessarily equal simple integration.

    So I only want to buy a membership plug-in where I can buy an available help desk support ticketing plug-in that have a history of integration.

    I am not asking you to choose a membership plug-in for me. Please inform me of which membership site plug-ins you are aware of that you or your plug-in customers have integrated with so that the same username and passwords of existing and new membership registrants is automatically recognized/accepted by your helpdesk support ticketing plug-in.

    Thank you,
    Jay

    I must admit that I too would have thought that any membership plugin would work with Sola Support Tickets, and I’m curious to know which you have tried without success.

    I use s2Member with Sola Support Tickets, and it works a treat.

    Hi Jay
    To be honest, we havent given this much thought but I like the idea of integrating with a membership plugin.

    Thank you for pointing out a plugin that does integrate, KTS915.

    Jay, we have added this to our list of must-have functionality, you can expect to see this introduced in the next few weeks.

    Hi ja87 and KTS915,

    Sola Support Tickets – Free Version
    ===================================
    In the free version, only one support agent is allowed – this is defaulted to the superadmin of the website (you, Administrator).
    User Registration required: No (guest, no registration)

    Plugin can not be integrated with other plugin or membership plugin. Simply because there is no user roles.

    But, if you protect a page (with membership plugin) with a ticket form then only registered members can send the ticket.

    Sola Support Tickets – Premium
    ===================================
    In the premium version you are able to assign as many support agents as you need and convert email into ticket too.
    User Registration required: Yes (registered user) and No (guest, no registration). Visitors can still send the ticket without the need to register.

    Plugin can be integrated with other plugin or membership plugin.
    Users: plugin adds user role – Support Ticket Author (ticket_author)
    Core capabilities: read
    Custom capabilities: edit_sola_st_ticket, publish_sola_st_tickets, read_sola_st_ticket

    How to integrate Sola Support Tickets with Membership plugin (any): Install User Role Editor plugin, then into member role (of membership plugin) add custom capatibilities of Support Ticket Author role. And that’s it.

    Regards

    Exactly. That’s why Sola can be integrated with any membership plugin.

    I myself much prefer Capability Manager Enhanced for adding capabilities.
