    Hello,

I would like to ask if integrations with other analytics plugins (for example Google Analytics for WooCommerce) can be done without creating any problems in the functionality of accepting or denying the cookies.

Do I have to set-up anything else in order for complianz to work as intended? Also, will there be any problem with new google’s consent mode, if the ID is handled by another plugin?

    Best Regards

    Hi @stevendigital,

When using Consent Mode in Complianz, one of the implementations as mentioned here would be necessary; https://complianz.io/consent-mode-for-7-0/.

It might be possible to use Consent Mode while you’re using another plugin to add Google Tags, but these are not explicitly supported by default.

Some plugins (e.g. GTM4WP) allow you to disable the ‘base container code’, so you can place the GTM container with another plugin like Complianz, whereby you can let Complianz place GTM with Consent Mode support, whilst still letting GTM4WP place the “Ecommerce Events”, to name an example.

Hope this helps! Kind regards, Jarno

    Hello @jarnovos,

So it might all come to a trial and error, regarding what plugin can somehow accept the consent mode. The more stable/tested solution is to use GTM4WP. Regarding the ‘base container code’ that you refer to, we talk about a basic gtat container or a container that is created from the Google tag manager service that Google provides?

    Best Regards
