Integrating Existing Site into WP

I’m wanting to integrate wordpress into XSSdb. I put a concept together as to how it would, theoretically function.

Currently, the navigation menu (select boxes) are from various javascripts. The items are populated using an XML feed and I’m thinking wordpress will allow for easier updates and better indexing (considering the content will be accessible.)

I’m curious how you recommend/suggest, my fell wordpress community members that I integrate this application int oa full wordpress site. Anyone wishing to tackle the project with me, let me know here.
