integrating media credit into pages

    Hi! Your plugin is working great for me on blogposts for our new site, but I can’t seem to make it work with pages that have featured images, like the one I’ve just linked to on this topic. I’d like the credits to appear at the end, like they do on blog posts. (Like here: https://staging.civiliansinconflict.org/blog/hidden-harm-acquired-disability-conflict)

    I saw your explanation in the FAQ, but it’s just gibberish to me. “Just call <?php get_media_credit_html($post); ?> with an attachment id (int) or WP_Post object for an attachment to get the media credit, including a link to the author page. To echo the results, call <?php the_media_credit_html($post); ?>.” Huh?

    What would I put in a page template just to pull credit info on the featured image associated with that page?

    Hi @ctbritt!

    This specific FAQ entry is aimed at developers, so if you are not familiar with PHP programming, better to just ignore it ??

    I’ve had a look at the code and it appears that leaving out pages is an unintentional side effect (or rather: it’s always been that way and nobody asked for it before). I’ll change this in the next version. Unfortunately, I’m pretty busy at the moment, so it may be a week or two.

    Hi, Pepe– That would be great. We’re using a background image on our pages as the splash image, but we’re also using the same photo as the featured photo, even though it doesn’t show. (It’s for thumbnail purposes on index pages.) But it would be great to have the featured page credit show even if the featured photo isn’t itself showing.
