Integrating WooCommerce Subscription Downloads with WCfM

  • Hello –

    I reached out to several independent developers about this, and they all encouraged me to reach out directly to WCfM before they would be willing to take on the job…

    I understand that WCfM doesn’t automatically allow the vendors in my marketplace to use the functionality of “WooCommerce Subscription Downloads.” (I installed WooCommerce Subscriptions, and my vendors can now sell subscriptions… but, when I installed WooCommerce Subscription Downloads, the new functionality doesn’t work for my vendors. I want my vendors to be able to make their products available to customers that have purchased subscriptions (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-subscription-downloads/).

    Can you suggest any code, or a technical solution, to this problem? I’m happy to hire a developer to implement the solution, but I think I’ll need a bit more context as far as a possible way forward…

    Tell me one thing, hope you are using WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin as well. It by default support “subscription downloadable” product.

    Then why this addition plugin? Here vendor has to create two products – one subscription product and then one simple downloadable product.

    If a customer purchases a subscription to “weekly worksheets” or “monthly worksheets,” the Vendor will want all of the worksheet products that they post on a weekly or monthly basis to be downloadable for subscribers…

    It seems that the only way to accomplish this kind of subscription functionality is with the “Subscription Downloads” plugin.

    Otherwise, customers would be paying a subscription for a single-file download.

    I do see that the Subscription Downloads is working on my primary WooCommerce store (it shows up in the product meta). Do you have any suggestions or technical solutions for bringing that into the MultiVendor storefront?
