Integrating WordPress into existing site

I followed the directions in the codex and I get an Table ‘thesimmu_wrdp1.users’ doesn’t exist! The blog itself works fine! The tables have the wp_prefix.

It’s when I go to the main site I get the error, the URL is https://thesimmunity.com/ and the blog is at https://thesimmunity.com/blog .
