Integration Error Invalid value for payment Request

    Hi,

    The regional parameters of the plugin do not seem to know the region ‘RE’ (REUNION ISLAND), Department and French Region (DROM FR)… An error message appears in the console:

    IntegrationError: Invalid value for paymentRequest(): country should be one of the following strings: AE, AT, AU,... You specified: RE.

    Is it possible to correct the problem and recognize the ‘RE’ region as French (FR)?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that you are receiving the error message since the selected country does not appear on the supported countries of Stripe.

    Similar to the reason behind this forum thread, the error is thrown if the country for WooCommerce > Settings > General > Store Address doesn’t match the array of supported countries of Stripe – https://stripe.com/global – the error is thrown by Stripe.com JavaScript and not our extension.

    Disable the Payment Request button option and this error will disappear.

    I’m not sure I fully understand. Do you speak french?

    If I disable the button, I will no longer receive payments!?
    ‘RE’ is one of the subdivision codes for the country ‘FR’. Since country ‘FR’ is supported, subdivision according to ISO-3166 should also be supported, right?

    Is it possible to request the integration of Reunion Island (RE) as French territory (FR) in the same way as Puerto Rico (PR) which is assimilated by Stripe as American territory (US)?

    It will disable the Apple Pay and Google Pay button.

    Yes, you can via: https://woocommerce.com/feature-requests/stripe/. However I would recommend to use custom code for this, granted Stripe does support Reunion Island (RE)(?).

    I could not find anything for that. Do you know if Stripe lists Reunion Island (RE) as supported maybe?
